ART SERIES : "AT THE CROSS #5"©

 

FROM THE ARTIST: The painting "At the Cross #5"© is from a series of 6 paintings. The original painting was produced in 1990, and the colors used represents the significance of God's creation.

Blue represents Peace, Red for the Blood of Jesus, Yellow for the Knowledge of God, White is for Purity, Purple is for Royalty and Gold is for His Glory. The White Cross displayed in the center of the painting with five lines depicting Jesus' stripes. Isaiah 53:5, "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed."
